Throughout your journey, your hair begins to grow and grow and grow. It’s a fantastic way to see how long your character has spent on the island. While female characters only grow hair from their heads, the men will gradually morph into Tom Hanks from Cast Away. 

Better still, if you’re not a fan of the wild man look, you can cut the hair with scissors and then use it as a resource. Pretty impressive, right?

What makes RDR2 special is that Arthur’s hair beard will continue to grow day after day. Leave it long enough and the fresh-faced hero will have very long hair and a large, bushy beard. Just how long does his beard grow? Well, a “Level 10 beard” wouldn’t look out of place in your average DnD tournament. It’s colossal! To achieve this glorious beard, players need to drink a Hair Tonic and wait for it to work its magic.
